The bags are sized at 15 inches width, 9 inches expandable depth, and 32 inches in length, made from low-density polyethylene (LDPE) (381mm (W) x 228.6mm (Expands) x 812.8mm (L)) and 1.5 Mil thick which is slightly thicker than 1.25 mil poly bags. These Poly bags called gusseted poly bags have creased sides that expand to accommodate bulky items and the sides are called gussets. LDPE materials are the most used material for transparent packaging of any item because they are excellent for protecting items and can be used daily at a great price. These bags are made from seamless poly tubing with no slits or side seals that can tear and a clear view of items present inside as they are transparent. FDA-approved for food packaging or storing as they are made from virgin materials. These bags are perfect for containing large quantities of produce, such as whole watermelons, pumpkins, or multiple heads of lettuce and also perfect for protecting non-food items like large textiles, garden tools, sports equipment, or oversized automotive parts.
